About Me

I am Komi Novonoch, a composer and pianist interested in the meeting point between historical musical traditions, modernism, and experimental music.

My musical interests span a wide range of repertoire and styles, with particular interest in composers such as Beethoven, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Medtner, Schoenberg, Prokofiev, and others.

As a composer, I am particularly interested in expressive harmony, unusual textures, counterpoint, and dramatic musical structures.

I am currently developing new works for piano, chamber ensembles, and larger orchestration while preparing for further study in music performance and theory.
